Sly-Fi is a Halifax-based trio that melds elements of jazz, funk, and instrumental hip-hop. The result is something that is both familiar and fresh, like old jazz records sampled and rearranged in high fidelity. Sly-Fi is led by producer and multi-instrumentalist Adam McLellan (Snug), with Charles Urich on drums and Connor Wilde on trumpet, flugelhorn and keys.
